another day month another dollar (saved)

chronicling my I-Want-Bird (the name my dad used to call us when we kept “I want”-ing everything as kids) tendencies for another month proved to be kinda fun and fulfilling. how ..cool! how savvy. pockets are feeling full (well, fuller)

but really, it oddly feels like I’m buying these pieces as I cut-and-paste them into a Page for later. and usually Pin them to my to-buy ‘25 board if I believe I’m at a danger of forgetting about it. but then again, if it isn’t special enough to remember…

[I have also found that the pressure to purchase GIGANTICALLY decreased after deleting TikTok. sooo yeah if you needed a fiscal sign to part ways with that thing]

the feeling of waltzing into a neighborhood shop, vintage store or hell even wholefoods and A. not feeling the forceful need to walk away with a little something while B. feeling that if I wanted to I could without breaking the bank feels like a new world of greatness. freedom but with bounds. nice.

ACTUALLY! I don’t like it at all. went back to the shop to take a second sniff and it was just not right

3* actually this scent is better than the pictured one

5 I thought this scent would be too fresh to me – but maybe my personal scent index is maturing??
